Where has birch soda been all my life? Like, seriously though! On a whim, Neil bought some bottled soda to go with some pizza he ordered, and he picked out one that said birch on it because he thought it might be something I would like to try. I had NEVER heard of it and had no idea what it would taste like. It tastes like WINTERGREEN, people! WHAAAAAAAT. It is so amazing! It doesn't seem like a flavor that would make for a good soda flavor, but you would be wrong. Rootbeer already has that very faint flavor in the background, but this is all in the forefront and so great. I'm not sure if this is an East Coast or Mid West flavor? But god damn, it's delicious.

One of the things I always read online that Europeans don't get is our root beer. They say it tastes like toothpaste. Which, I was like, um, let me get some of this fantastic rootbeer flavored toothpaste these weirdos have. But now I'm thinking: maybe the only rootbeer over there is the ones more like the birch??? But, I'm still like, get me some of this wintergreen flavored toothpaste. Have you figured out that I love wintergreen? Unfortunately, I have to stick with Sensodyne since my teeth get all sensitive without it. Bleh.

Neil had bought me a vacuum cleaner for either my birthday or Christmas like ten years ago, which when he did his coworkers said that was a terrible gift and I was going to be pissed. I was not, because it was an amazing Dyson pet one, who would be mad at that! Anyways, Neil was at Costco recently and came home with another one. I was like, but I still have the other one? He said now I can have one upstairs and this one downstairs, and he figuered we needed a new one. I said the old one works just fine (oh god, I sound like my mom. But it is just fine!). So this weekend I try to use the new one, because of course its different than the ten year old one, and.... GOD DAMN. Ok Neil, you win again, this new one is a powerhouse and I can feel the suction. I feel like a commercial. I still want to keep the old one, Neil says we'll watch some youtube videos to learn how to take it apart and clean it.
