Not a sponsored post, but it should be || ONE Protein Bars

The first flavor I tried of this brand ONE, was the birthday cake. My coworker would always pick birthday cake flavor of any protein bar brand, as it would usually end up being her favorite of that brand. I tried a few different flavors of various protein bars from her, but when she gave me a sample of this one? I was like, this is amazing! The flavor! The texture!

I was on the hunt to get my husband some protein bars instead of the granola bars I had been buying and I figured, let's try the ONE protein bars. I went onto Amazon and ordered a box of a variety pack. The only one I sneaked out of the box was the lemon cake flavor because it sounded really yummy. AND OH MY GOD. I thought birthday cake was delicious, well, here comes lemon cake into first place!

My husband wasn't negative about the bars (I kept asking for feedback and he would just shrug and say they were ok), so once black Friday rolled around, they had a sale of 20% off all their flavors. So I ordered all the mostly non-chocolate ones (neither of us are big chocolate fans) and hoped for the best. Not all of these flavors were in the variety pack that we tried, so I was taking a bit of a gamble on some of the flavors.

So here is my own personal opinion of how I would rank the flavors:

Ones I would buy and buy again (and again) in order of best flavor:

--Almond Bliss: tastes like an Almond Joy (but BETTER)
--Peanut Butter Pie: tastes like a PayDay
--White Chocolate Truffle
--Lemon Cake
--Birthday Cake: almost tastes like the animal circus cookies
--Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake: like a peanut butter cookie
--Blueberry Cobbler has that artificial taste, like what they use for vapes, so if that isn't your thing be wary
--Cookies and Cream
--Cinnamon Roll
--Maple Glazed Doughnut same as the blueberry, very artificial maple flavoring, same as the ones for vaping (I DON'T vape, I just have to walk through clouds of it from teenagers to get into the mall)
--Peanut Butter Cup: does taste like a peanut butter cup

I had my younger sister try the Almond Bliss which is my mostest favorite, and she was very underwhelmed. She was like, I guess it's ok? Maybe it would be better if I was high?

She took two bites then just put it down and didn't finish it, ha. SO MAYBE my tastes have gotten old lady? I don't like sugar as much as I use to, and honestly, I would rather eat one of these than the corresponding candy bar to satisfy any sweet craving. To me, these do taste VERY sweet. I just wanted to include her review to show that my list is 100% catered to MY tastes and maybe not that relatable to your own.

Ones I would NOT buy again:

--Salted Caramel: a very surprising disappointment! I didn't enjoy the harder texture, and the flavor just wasn't doing it for me. Not BAD per se, but compared to all the other flavors, just really not worth it for me to buy again.
--Banana Nut Bread: I really wanted to like this one since it was one of their plant-based ones, but the flavoring they use is that same banana they use for candy, and it was just weird. I'm not a big banana person to begin with so this was going to be a hard sell anyways.

Flavors I haven't tried so I have no idea if good or not:

--Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
--Chocolate Brownie
--Chocolate Peanut Butter (plant-based)
--Dark Chocolate Sea Salt

I love that they have SO MANY FLAVORS. I organized the flavors in my pantry to have a different flavor each day, so it's going to take a while before I get bored with these (I hope). So far I've seen 17 different flavors? They also seem to have a gingerbread holiday one, but I wasn't able to get that one before it was out of stock. Not sure if it was just a one time flavor or what, so I didn't include that in my list.

Also, don't listen to the reviews mentioning the brand Quest. These bars are nothing, and I mean NOTHING like Quest. Quest is hot garbage, do not buy. Unless you read the review under Quest from a lady who purposely buys Quest because they taste terrible. She only wants to eat food out of necessity, otherwise, if it tastes good, she will over-eat. Very telling. I ordered a variety pack of that brand for my husband, and he couldn't even finish one even though he has been very hungry since he has been reducing his calories. I put the rest in the break-room at my work, ha. My coworker that introduced me to ONE warned me that Quest wasn't as good but I didn't listen.

If you are interested in protein bars and interested in trying these, I would suggest getting a variety pack first. That way you can try a lot of the flavors and figure out if this brand is even worth it for you.
